What to Wear: Thanksgiving

Oh my goodness friends! It feels like I haven’t talked to you in AGES. I’ve missed rambling on to you all 😉

It’s been a super crazy couple of days! While we had quite a few hiccups (don’t even want to talk about it), our move ended up going pretty quickly! Sending out HUGE “thank yous” and lots of hugs to my Dad and Dad-In-Law. They worked their butts off helping us and we couldn’t be more thankful!

Speaking of thankful… It’s almost time for Thanksgiving! I’m so freakin’ excited. I just love Thanksgiving! Every year, I have quite a few Thanksgiving dinners to go to, and of course, need a different outfit for each of them. I always tend to lean towards cozy outfits that aren’t restricting in any way. (Let’s be real. I’m going to be eating a TON and don’t want to have to unbutton my pants. HAHA!!)

BONUS! A lot of these super cute items can be found ON SALE right now at Nordstrom. So if you like anything you see, head over there quick! There isn’t a whole lot of time left to shop their awesome Fall sale.

First up, this pretty little purple dress! Before I go any further, let me tell you how much I LOVED this dress when I pulled it out of the package. I ordered it specifically for this post, and was thrilled with it. Well, I of course couldn’t stand not wearing it because it was so dang cute, so I wore it to work one day. Then I washed it and IT SHRUNK. Not even kidding. I was super upset. I washed it in cold water, AND hung it to dry. So, be super careful with this purchase. I would size up, and hand wash. So if you’re wondering why it looks a bit short, thats why. Luckily, it still looks cute with leggins and boots 🙂

Dress // Booties (sold out) Similar here and here //

Remember how I said I like to be cozy? Well, this outfit is SO DANG COZY and super cute. This dress is EVERYTHING. I wear it all the time and am honestly thinking about getting it in another color. I have worn it probably 50 times in the past month. Usually with one of my many blanket scarves because, like I said, I like being cozy!

Dress (Go buy it RIGHT NOW. It’s 40% off, and you need it in your life!) // This scarf was a gift and I have no clue where they got it. But I LOVE this onethis one, and this one. // Boots (old) similar here, here and here! //

And last, but certainly not least, is my favorite outfit. I seriously love this shirt SO DANG MUCH. In fact, I’ve told you all to go buy it at least twice before, so I’m going to tell you again. (PS, this shirt runs really big. I’m wearing a small and it’s too big. However, I like things loose and baggy. But if you don’t you may want to consider sizing down!) This outfit is perfect for the Thanksgiving dinner where you can be completely comfy, stuff your face, and watch football on the couch with the guys.

Shirt (My exact color is no longer available, but you can get this one which is really similar, and 40% off right now!) //  Jeans (On sale!) // Booties (from my favorite local boutique) similar here and here.

Andddd a little bonus. The day after Thanksgiving, AKA Black Friday, you should be wearing this. Because the day after Thanksgiving is the day we FINALLY get to go back to Star’s Hallow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Luke’s Sweatshirt // Jeans (on HUGE sale right now) // UGGs

I hope you’re all out and about enjoying this beautiful Thursday! I’m thinking I might go for a little walk. It’s 65 and sunny here! That almost never happens in November.

Anyone else thrilled tomorrow is Friday? I know I’m exhausted and ready to relax and enjoy my weekend. From what I hear, it’s supposed to be a beautiful one, so get our there and enjoy it! Maybe by crossing a few things off your fall bucket list?
