Hey Guys! I hope you’re all having a fabulous Wednesday. I’ve been working ALL DAY on our latest DIY project and I’m so happy with how it’s turning out! I seriously can’t wait to share it with you.
Today is also a really special day… it’s my Mama’s birthday! She had to work all day (I was really hoping for a snow day so we could snuggle up and watch Hallmark movies) but we got to celebrate her at dinner tonight. SO if you happen to know this super special lady, be sure to give her a birthday shoutout! And if not, please send Happy Birthday vibes her way!
It seems like it’s been literally ages since I’ve gotten to do a Wedding Wednesday post! If you follow my blog (if you don’t… you should be!) you’ll know that I love to do series, especially on Travel Tuesdays. Well, today I’m bring you the very first Wedding series to Savannah Said It… Wedding 101: The Paper Products.
Paper Products?? You’re probably thinking I’m crazy, I know. But I’m telling you, you need SO MANY PAPER PRODUCTS for your wedding, and honestly, each one deserves it’s own post.
From choosing a style to actually deciding if you really need to have those “thank you” notes on your tables, you’re going to become BFFs with whatever company you’re working with, or with your UPS guy if you’re ordering online. And with so many different options out there, and Pinterest making you think you absolutely can’t live without “Madlibs” at each seat, it can be super hard to think about what you’re really going to need, and what is just fluff.
Each Wednesday, I’m going to be tackling a different part of that “big picture”. What do I mean by “big picture”? I mean the entire wedding process as a whole. From Before/After paper products you’ll need, to the big day, I promise I’ve got you covered!
TIME OUT. Did you just read Before and After? Yup. You did. One thing that escapes brides with Wedding Brain is this… you’re going to be sending out Thank You notes (not just from your wedding, but from your bridal showers too). You have to plan for all those pre-wedding activities too, like engagement parties, rehearsal dinners, welcome bags, the list goes on and on. When you start making a list of all the paper products you think you’re going to need, you’re going to be shocked. And then when you start looking at the prices on all these items, you just might cry.
So for the next couple of weeks, you can go ahead and think of me as your Wedding Fairy Godmother, as I help you weed through all the information out there, and guide you through the must haves, the things you don’t need, and where to find exactly what you’re looking for. As always, no I’m not a wedding planner, so my opinion isn’t the only one you should listen to. I’m just choosing to share the information that I know I would have loved to have had while planning my wedding.
Next Wednesday, we’re kicking off with all those “Before The Big Day” events you’re going to need stationary for.
Sorry for the short post today, but theres a birthday girl waiting for me to start a movie!
