Happy Friday Sunday Monday my loves! I know… I’ve got some explaining to do. I promised you a post on Friday… and it never went up. I always post on Sunday, and that never went up either. However, I have a good excuse. Your girl has been SICK. Like sleeping all day, fever, can’t talk, massive coughing attacks sick. And every time I pulled out my computer to type my hubby took it from me and yelled REST! As a matter of fact, I’m supposed to be resting right now, and taking a few days off blogging… but what he doesn’t know won’t hurt him 😉
Anyways, I’m back! Instead of my Mitten Monday post today, I’m going to share Friday’s post with you. If you know anything about me, you know I love to be cozy and warm and hate being cold.
Speaking of cold (good segue right?!) I’m always super chilly when the weather starts to get colder. In Michigan, it gets brutally cold in November and the snow usually starts to fly just before Thanksgiving. (Sometimes we’re lucky and it waits until after!) Either way, I ALWAYS make sure my closest is fully stocked with warm and snuggly sweaters to get me through until March. (And I hate to say it but sometimes even April.)
Today, I’m sharing my favorite places to get sweaters on any budget! And guess what? Since we’re Falling Back this weekend, a lot of places have REALLY good sales! And who can say no to a really good sale?!
Nordstrom. My number one favorite place to get my clothes is of course, my favorite place to find snuggly sweaters. Please don’t start cringing. I KNOW Nordstrom has some crazy expensive designer brands. But they also sell really affordable brands too. My favorite sweater right now is this one that’s been sold out for ages by Top Shop. I have a few sweaters from the Lush and BP lines sold at Nordstrom that are amazing and sometimes, you can snag a killer deal on a designer mark down. Shop Nordstroms Fall Sale (where you can save up to 40%) until November 12th, here.
Old Navy. The most affordable clothing store is just the place to grab a couple of basic sweaters each fall. I like to get my basic crew neck sweaters from Old Navy because I can stock up for next to nothing. They ALWAYS have some sort of sale going on, and you can usually get a pretty nice sweater for around $20. And because I pay so little of them, I don’t mind wearing them to work where I’m almost guaranteed to get paint spilled on me once a week. Right now, you can snag sweaters at Old Navy for $15!!! And a lot of their full priced sweaters are 30% off at check out. (Also… they have codes for 40% off one item and 30% off your order!) Click here to shop your little heart out.
Good Night Macaroon. Every sweater I’ve ever purchased from Good Night Macaroon is insanely beautiful and really good quality. That being said… they take FOREVER to get to you. So if you’re hoping to have something in time for Thanksgiving, don’t order from here. However, if you’re looking for something super stylish to keep you warm until next Spring, start shopping here! (PS… every Tuesday their newest styles go on Flash Sale for 48 hours! You can get their newest items for 50% off!)
Macy’s. An oldie, but a goodie, Macy’s has quality brands at decent prices. Plus, they’re literally always having some type of sale! Shop here for their Daylight Savings Event! You’re looking at an extra 20% off + free shipping!)
