Weekend Round Up

Hey There Loves! Happy Sunday! I hope this post finds you well rested and snuggled up enjoying a lazy Sunday evening!

We haven’t done much of anything this weekend, but I feel like I’ve accomplished so much!

We started the weekend off right with Date Night on Friday. I ended up getting out of work super early which we were super thankful for because the winter storm we were getting. We got almost 9 inches of snow on Friday! It was nuts. We decided to stay close to home, and head to On The Boarder because it’s right around the corner from out house. We ate our weight in queso, drank margaritas and talked about our days.

When we got home we threw on some comfies and snuggled in for the night. We finished a puzzle and watched the Opening Ceremonies!

PS… If you like doing puzzles and are looking for some really awesome ones, we’ve been loving these Aimee Stewart Collection puzzles that we found at Target! We bought the entire “Life is an Open Book” collection. We finished the London and Paris puzzles and just started on the last one, New York! You can’t buy them online, but you can find them in your Target stores. Click here to check to see if they are available near you!

Saturday, Trev braved the weather to head to Lansing for a conference at Michigan State. I stayed home and worked on a whole bunch of stuff for school this week. With our Valentine’s Party just a few days away, I had a lot to get done! Jacksy Cat made that quite difficult because he just wanted to snuggle all day. And how could I not? I mean… I CAN’T SAY NO TO THAT FACE.

Today, we woke up and had a lazy morning around the house. We drank our coffee, watched Fixer Upper and got our laundry done. Then, we headed to Lowe’s to get the last few things we needed to complete our newest DIY project!

We finished it today and I’m so obsessed with how it turned out! I can’t wait to share it with you next week, because I think all you DIYers are going to love it too. Plus, it was crazy easy!

Now, we’re heating up some bread and taking the Broccoli Cheddar Soup out of the crock pot for dinner! I’m really sad that the weekend is already over. It went by WAY too fast!

Here’s to hoping this week goes by fast too… because I legit can’t wait for Friday! Speaking of this week, my blog posts might look a little bit different than usual… starting with tomorrow! Instead of Mitten Monday, I’m sharing 5 Valentine’s Day Date Ideas That Don’t Suck. So… if you’ve waited until the last minute to make plans for V-Day, be sure to come back tomorrow (or subscribe), because your girl has got you covered. 🙂

I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend! I’ll talk to you tomorrow.
