Happy, happy Monday guys! Today, we’re talking about the one thing that everyone can get behind… Breakfast Food!
Last weekend, Trev and I didn’t get to have our Friday Night Date Night because of our busy schedules. So I decided we’d have Date Night on a Saturday Morning at the place Michigan has voted their best breakfast… Anna’s House!
Family owned and operated in West Michigan since 2002, Anna’s House has been striving to save the world from ordinary breakfasts. They are dedicated to using fresh, local ingredients to bring you the very best organic/gluten free/dairy free/vegetarian/vegan dishes your heart has been pining for.
From the light and bright retro diner feel, to the insanely delicious food and everything in between, it’s easy to see why Michigan has voted Anna’s House as it’s best breakfast.
This was our very first time at Anna’s House (we just so happen to live right around the corner from their newest location!) and I can promise you, it won’t be our last! I decided to play it safe, and ordered their Buttermilk Craft Waffles. For the first time IN MY LIFE, I ate absolutely everything on my plate!
Trev went with the “go big, or go home” mentality and ordered Huevos Rancheros with Pork Carnitas. OMG it was SO.MUCH.FOOD. It was also, totally delicious!
Oh… and their coffee? I wish I could have ordered it by the gallon. (Plus they have an eclectic collection of coffee cups!)
Long story short, if you’re looking for breakfast in Michigan, look no further than Anna’s House! Check out their menu here!
And while I have you here, I figure it’s the perfect time to talk about my favorite transitional Fall outfit! Who else has the HARDEST time figuring out what to wear when the weather is too cold for shorts but too hot for pants? Every year, I pull out some version of this outfit. I wear this EVERYWHERE when I’m not sure what to wear. Why? Because it’s simple, stylish, comfortable, and I’m never too hot or too cold!
I love a good, snuggly, body-con dress that I can dress up or down! I picked this one up from Nordstrom two years ago, but you can find a similar dress here! This year I’ve paired it with this plaid I picked up from the #NSale last month, these All Star Lifts, and this Kate Spade cross body.
But I’ve also worn this same outfit like this…
while sight seeing in San Antonio, and countless other times that haven’t been documented in photos. (I’m wearing the same body-con, but you can find my plaid here, and my shoes here!)
What is your favorite thing to wear when the weather starts to get cooler, but not cool enough to pull out your sweaters and boots?!
Today, it’s def cold enough to cozy up in all my favorite fall outfits! It’s only going to be 63 here in Michigan! I realllllly wish I didn’t have to go to work so I could do something “fall”ish in a cute fall outfit.
Alright my loves, I’m off to work! Have a great start to your Monday! I’ll be back with tomorrow with a Fall DIY that only cost me $5 and looks like a million bucks! (It’s also a dupe for something that costs a lot more money at one of your favorite Home Decor stores!) Make sure you check back (or subscribe) because I know you won’t want to miss it!
Xx.

PS… BIP Finale tonight and tomorrow! Who’s ready to watch the craziness?!
Those waffles look delicious! I also like your outfit, especially the plaid detail 🙂 x
