Happy, happy, happy Sunday my loves! It is so dang Sunny and warm here this weekend that it still feels like summertime!
We’ve had a great weekend and for the first time in a really long time, we weren’t busy working/traveling/over extending ourselves. We had some fun, worked a little, and relaxed a lot!
Our weekend started out on a not so great note… when my lunatic of a husband tried to wash out the brownie bowl instead of letting me lick it.
WHO DOES THIS?! BROWNIE BOWLS ARE MADE FOR LICKING.
Other Friday night highlights? Date night at home, eating Chinese food, watching The Office and going to sleep early.
Saturday we woke up super early because Trev’s soccer girls had a lift. So I went with him because we were sticking around for the soccer game later that afternoon… and because he promised me breakfast. (I’ll do anything for breakfast food.)
I’m SO ready for Fall that I based my outfit off my cute fall sweater (get it here, I’m wearing a size Small for reference) and my new fall bandana I found on accident at Walmart for $1.
Unfortunately, my cute outfit lasted a total of one hour before Mother Nature cranked up the heat and I was sweating uncontrollably for the rest of the day. (It was 90 degrees here on Saturday!!)
After his girls lifted, Trev and I headed to Toast in Ferndale for breakfast. It was SO yummy!
Then, we began my quest of finding a CVS that actually sold the Joah beauty products. (Good news, I finally found them today! I’ll let you know what I think soon!) Before we knew it, it was time to head back to UDM for the Men’s Soccer Game.
After the game we headed to Trev’s bosses house with the rest of the strength staff for a Goodbye BBQ for one of their colleagues/friends. We had a great night sitting on the deck, eating, drinking, and visiting.
This morning we were up early again to head to Chelseas for the Finders Keepers Vintage Market! I have been looking forward to this ALL year and I was SO pumped to go! It was awesome, and we had a great time walking through looking at all the neat things the vendors had to offer.
When we got back to Detroit we grocery shopped, did some laundry and cleaned the house. Now, we’re watching football and relaxing before another crazy week begins. Anyone else feel like this weekend just hasn’t been long enough?!
How were your weekends?! I hope you got out and did something fun! Have a great rest of your Sunday everyone. I’ve got some fun posts coming at you this week that I can’t wait to share. I’ll be back tomorrow!
