Weekend Round Up

Happy Sunday My Friends! I’m struggling through this blogpost trying out the new editor Word Press is launching soon. I’m not big on change so the jury’s still out on whether not this is easier or not. And if this post looks weird… I’m blaming it on the editor 🙂

I hope you’re all having a great weekend! We sure are. My weekend started Friday after work. Trevor was with his Women’s Basketball team so I had the evening to myself. That meant heading to Joann’s to take advantage of their Christmas Doorbusters! I left with some SUPER cute stuff to add to my Christmas decor! I can’t wait for y’all to see it this December 🙂

After I did some shopping, I grabbed dinner (Culver’s of course) and headed home to catch up on some Christmas movies! I also spent some time in the kitchen baking my Grandma Rosie’s pumpkin rolls! They turned out SO yummy!! Speaking of… I missed a HUGE step on my recipe I posted last week. I’ve updated it since, so if you’re planning to try out the Pumpkin Roll for this Thanksgiving, check it out one more time.

When Trev got home we snuggled in for the night with Jacksy Cat and The Office.

Saturday morning I woke up early and plugged in the Christmas tree. I LOVEEEE sitting by the Christmas tree with my coffee and Christmas movies. If you ask me, it’s the most perfect way to start my day! Once Trev had gotten up we got dressed and headed down to Blissfield to visit with his family for the day since we won’t see them for Thanksgiving. His parents are on vacation this weekend, but we got to spend a little bit of time with our sweet little niece and Trev’s Grandma, and deliver Pumpkin Rolls and Thanksgiving Treats.

Sunday I woke up to SNOWWW!

I was so excited! All the snow we had melted and it was the most beautiful dusting outside. The world just seems a little bit more magical when it’s covered in snow. So it made our day of errands a little bit better!

Now, our house is clean and cozy, our laundry is (almost) put away, and dinner is on the stove! Tonight we’re getting a jump start on packing because we’re FINALLY heading HOME for Thanksgiving in just 3 more sleeps! Eeeek. I just can’t wait!

How were your weekends?! I hope they were wonderful, relaxing and a little bit snowy just like mine.

I’ll be back tomorrow with a post that all you lovely ladies who wait until the last minute to pick an outfit will totally appreciate. I’ll talk to you then!

Xx.
