The Best of Fall 2018

Oh. My. God. You guys. How is it possible it’s time to share my Best of Fall 2018 post already?! It legit flew by. I feel like I blinked and fall was completely gone. I’ve been so busy adjusting to my new job that I don’t think I really got a chance to enjoy Fall like I normally do. So to be totally honest, I’m already looking forward to next September so I can live Fall to the Fullest like I try to do as each season comes by. Now, I know that fall TECHNICALLY doesn’t end up December 20th. But in my mind, Fall is over on the last day of November. I mean… who still thinks about Fall when the Christmas Carols start the day after Thanksgiving?!

This Fall was an absolute whirlwind for us, and honestly, I’m so glad that I have my weekend round ups to go back through. I really don’t know if I could tell you about our Fall if I didn’t have them.

September

September started with Labor Day Weekend. We LOVE LDW because it means one more weekend of Summertime in Northern Michigan. We watched sunsets, went rock hunting, sat around the fire and ate a bunch of s’mores.

Trev’s athletes were back on campus and ready to get bigger, faster and stronger. We watched A LOT of soccer this past September!

September was also Back to School month for me! I teach all year around, but I said goodbye to my Summer Campers, who were my babies from the year before and sent them off to Kindergarten. I don’t think I’ve ever cried so hard in my life! I also welcomed a whole new group of students into my room!

Obviously not me and my kids! But I do need a lot of coffee to get me through the day. HA

We celebrated Jacksy’s birthday.

We worked our last game of the season at Comerica Park.

We went to a Vintage Market.

We celebrated my birthday with an International Date Night!

A&W is so much better in Canada!

Andddd in Grand Rapids at ArtPrize!

We visited the Apple Orchard.

We had a lot of Breakfast Dates.

And spent a few weekends at home snuggling.

In the blink of an eye, it was October!

October

We started October in the only way we know how… at the Pumpkin Patch with our sweet little niece!

We did Double Date Night with our friends.

And we took a mini vacation to The Poconos!

I took a trip Up North.

We spent some time in Glen Arbor.

We celebrated my bestie’s birthday at Dave and Busters.

We dressed up for Halloween!

And we celebrated our niece’s first birthday!

Before we knew it, it was already November!

November

We took our annual trip to Frankenmuth.

I had some really fun collabs!

We spent some time with Trev’s family.

We decorated for Christmas!

We got the first Snowfall of the season!

We celebrated Thanksgiving with my family.

And spent another wonderful weekend Up North.

Our Fall definitely didn’t go like we had pictured, and it was crazy stressful. However, we made the best of it, we still had fun, and we had each other to hold on to through the crazy whirlwind that was Fall 2018!

Our last few months have been so dang busy! And unfortunately for us, we aren’t slowing down anytime soon. However, the BEST season is officially here, and we are ready to full on embrace CHRISTMAS!!!! (Seriously! Just wait until you see our Christmas Card this year!)

November 2018

Alright my loves. I’m sorry for the late upload… I have had a loooooong day. (Seriously I left for work at 6:15 this morning and just walked back in the door at 8:00.) I checked out approximately 5 hours ago, and I’m ready for bed.

I’ll be back tomorrow for #WhatUpWednesday! I’ll talk to you then!

Xx.
