What I’m Irritated About

What I’m Sleeping To

LOL weird title… I know. But I didn’t know how else to phrase it! Trev and I have both been really stressed out lately. And everyone knows that when you’re stressed, you get less quality sleep. Enter the Headspace app! Trev originally downloaded it for it’s meditation purposes. We’ve both been trying to live a little bit more mindfully, and we thought we’d do the free trial. Inside the app you’ll find sleepcasts. And guys… these bad boys are MIRACLE WORKERS. I’m not even kidding you, they are so relaxing and knock me out within minutes. We’ve been getting great sleep thanks to them! So what is a sleepcast exactly? It’s literally like a podcast that puts you to sleep! It uses sound and visulization techniques to create the ideal conditions for your best night’s sleep. They begin with a “wind-down” that helps to relax your brains. And tbh, I don’t make it much further than that! Sometimes I get the chance to hear the next step, the description of the relaxing environment. Then it begins running through the entire experience you’ve chosen. I’ve never made it this far. HAHA They apparently last anywhere between 45-60 minutes though! I highly recommend trying out the Headspace app! I think you’ll love it.

What I’m Working Out To

As I mentioned above, I’ve been super stressed lately so I’ve been doing a little bit of Yoga every night! It always amazes me how much better I feel once I’ve made it through a yoga session or two! I just find ones I like on YouTube! I usually like one that’s a little fast paced first to get my heart rate up and get a workout in. Then, I like to find one that is more about mindfulness. It totally relaxes me and helps me wind down for the night!

What I’m Watching

GAME OF THRONESSSSS! Of course! I’m so happy it’s back. But I”m also really, really, really, really, really sad that it’s the final season. It’s one of (if not my top) favorite shows! It you haven’t hopped on the GOT train yet, you really need to. It’s amazing and I promise you, everyone loves it for a reason!

What I’m Missing

My family! I really wish I was heading home this weekend for Easter. This is the first time EVER we won’t be around any of our family for the holiday. Trev’s got lacrosse games on Saturday so it doesn’t make sense for us to try to get anywhere for just Sunday morning. We’ve decided to have our own little Easter celebration and I can assure you, it is filled with Cadbury Eggs!

What Else Is New

Honestly… not much!
