What I’m Excited About

Being home. Today was quite the day and honestly, I’m having a real hard time believing it’s only Wednesday. I just keep looking ahead towards the weekend because it’s going to be SO fun! We’re heading to Holland to see the Tulips! (Holland Michigan that is…)

What I’m Eating

We’ve been eating SUPER healthy (for us at least) lately and I’m so proud of us!! One of our absolute favorite meals to make lately is Parmesan Crusted Steaks that we originally got with Blue Apron. And while we don’t have the original Blue Apron ingredients to make them, we’ve adapted and found a way to recreate them on our own. And guys… they’re SO yummy! What I’m Sweating To

I’ve been really trying to work out every day. And if I can’t get a full workout in, I’ve been trying to do at least one or two toning exercises. (My husband says toning exercises aren’t real but whatevs. I feel them working so they’re real to me!) My favorites for a quick workout that I feel EVERY SINGLE TIME are the ones by Ballet Beautiful. Mary Helen Bowers was a professional ballerina, and now, she helps celebs work towards the strong and graceful body of a dancer. I really enjoy these because they aren’t too long, they’re set to classical music, and they BURNNNN. (She trained Natalie Portman for Black Swan AND a bunch of Victoria’s Secret models. What I’m Thinking About

I’ve had a couple really bad days lately, but last night, I couldn’t stop thinking about how dang lucky I am. My hubby is the absolute BEST. No matter what kind of day I have, I know I can always come home to him and by the end of the night, we’ll be laughing so hard our stomachs hurt and we’re crying. Whether it’s over inside jokes, him trying to make me laugh, or just something we’re enjoying together on the TV or internet. I’m so grateful that I have that. I’ve always said that the number one thing on my “check list” was that I wanted someone who could make me laugh. And while we may not have a lot of things we want in life yet, we’ve got each other. And we’re happy. And that’s totally something to be very grateful for. Speaking of being grateful…

My Everyday In May Checklist

I might as well update you on my Everyday In May checklist! I’ve been doing REALLY well on my list! And I’m super proud because I haven’t failed at it yet. So go me! Hahaha
