Weekend Round Up

Hi Friends! Happy, happy Monday! This post is about to be short and sweet because I’ve got to get my butt to work! Also, side note, it’s like SUPER cold out this morning so I’ve got my Jeep warming up and the seat warmers on and I’m so thankful for seat warmers.

How were your weekends?! Ours was pretty dang good! We were excited to have a weekend at home… with my family! My parents came to town to help us shoot a November collab, and we were so happy to have them here!

Our weekend started out Friday night when I got home from work. My fam was here when I arrived and I was so happy to see them. We ordered take out and spent the evening catching up and watching Halloween movies on TV.

Saturday we slept in and I made breakfast! I tried a new recipe from one of my Magnolia cookbooks and it was SO GOOD. I made Joanna’s Prize Pigs (biscuits with bacon and cheese) and holy cow. I could eat them every.dang.day. After breakfast we had a few errands to run. My mom wanted to go to Target and you KNOW I jumped at the chance to tag along. I found a few super cute Christmas things in the Dollar Spot and the fuzzy slippers everyone has been talking about!

After Target we hit up all the home stores to check out Christmas decor before grabbing lunch and heading back to our house. We spent Saturday afternoon taking photos, watching football and eating all the snacks. And while I don’t have too many photos from our day that I can share right now, I can totally share this cute sneak peak 🙂

Saturday night my dad and Trev headed downstairs for more football, while my mom and I stayed upstairs to watch the new Hallmark Christmas movie.

Sunday we woke up, had breakfasts, and said our goodbyes. I was so sad my parents and pup had to go back North already! Weekends are never long enough.

Trev and I spent the rest of our Sunday doing our grocery shopping, cleaning, folding laundry and getting a few things done around the house. We also tried to prep for the week as best as we could… it’s going to be a busy few days!
